Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Content Marketing Manager with a strong background working with growth-stage startups, ideally in B2B or SaaS. The ideal candidate is both a strategic marketing leader and a skilled content creator, capable of developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement and growth. They should have a passion for storytelling, an analytical mindset, and a hands-on approach to content creation, including writing, video production, and social media management.
- Develop and lead our content strategy across SEO, web, email, social, and product marketing, with a focus on demand generation.
- Become a subject matter expert by learning and understanding our customers and market better than anyone.
- Write and optimize SEO-driven content including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and backlink submissions.
- Manage and grow the company’s LinkedIn presence, including creating posts and engaging with followers.
- Ghostwrite thought leadership content for executives on LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Produce and record tutorials, product demos, and other engaging video content.
- Write help articles that explain how to use a technical SaaS platform.
- Collaborate with designers, product teams, and sales to create marketing collateral.
- Reach out, connect, and communicate with prospects and clients to better understand their needs, questions, and wants.
- Optimize our website and content for conversion (SEO, CRO, CTAs that actually convert).
- Analyze content performance metrics and optimize strategies for engagement and conversion, using modern analytics tools to develop and track your own conversion funnels.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on content marketing and social media management.
- Proven track record in the SaaS, B2B, or a similar tech/startup environment.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with experience in keyword-driven content.
- Experience working in a demand generation environment, with a track record of driving pipeline growth.
- Strong video content creation skills, including scripting, recording, and editing.
- Experience managing LinkedIn company pages and executive ghostwriting that goes viral.
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as Ahrefs, WordPress, GA, Notion, ChatGPT, and content management systems.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Bonus: experience with PLG, cold outreach, or ABM marketing.
