Role Description

We are looking for a highly strategic and data-driven Senior Brand Marketing Manager to lead campaign planning, lifecycle marketing, organic content strategy, influencer partnerships, agency management, and DTC revenue growth. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who thrives in ownership-driven environments and enjoys making decisions that directly impact revenue performance.

This is a DTC growth leadership position responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue.

  • Campaign Strategy & Marketing Calendar
    • Own the annual, seasonal, and promotional marketing roadmap.
    • Develop integrated campaign strategies.
    • Build promotional calendars.
    • Plan product launches.
    • Map products and offers to seasonal demand cycles.
    • Define campaign messaging and positioning.
    • Create offers, promotions, and CTAs.
    • Coordinate execution across all marketing channels.
  • Lifecycle Marketing & Email (Klaviyo)
    • Own the email channel as a major revenue-generating asset.
    • Campaign planning.
    • Segmentation strategy.
    • Flow optimization.
    • List growth initiatives.
    • Lifecycle marketing programs.
    • Promotional email execution.
    • Retention marketing.
    • Performance reporting.
  • Organic Social Strategy
    • Lead the strategic direction of organic content initiatives.

    • Content performance analysis.
    • Cross-channel campaign integration.
  • Paid Agency Leadership
    • Act as the strategic owner of external paid media relationships.
    • Develop creative briefs.
    • Approve campaign direction.
    • Evaluate performance metrics.
    • Manage agency accountability.
    • Review spend efficiency.
    • Optimize customer acquisition efforts.
    • Ensure alignment between paid media and broader campaign objectives.
  • Ecommerce & Website Content Strategy
    • Partner with technical resources to improve customer acquisition and conversion.
    • Landing page strategy.
    • Product launch pages.
    • Promotional campaign pages.
    • Merchandising support.
    • Conversion-focused content recommendations.
    • Seasonal site experiences.
  • Influencer & Affiliate Marketing
    • Build and scale creator-driven growth initiatives.
    • Program development.
    • Influencer recruitment.
    • Affiliate management.
    • Product seeding campaigns.
    • Partnership negotiations.
    • Performance measurement.
    • ROI analysis.
  • Brand Stewardship
    • Serve as a guardian of the brand across all customer-facing channels.
    • Maintain consistency across campaigns.
    • Review creative assets.
    • Approve marketing materials.
    • Protect brand voice and positioning.
    • Ensure alignment between performance marketing and long-term brand equity.
  • Marketing Analytics & Performance Optimization
    • Use data to drive strategic decision-making.
    • Regularly analyze email performance, ecommerce metrics, social engagement, paid media performance, website conversion data, customer acquisition trends, retention metrics, and campaign ROI.

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in DTC Marketing, Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, Ecommerce Marketing, or Lifecycle Marketing.
  • Experience owning marketing channels and revenue outcomes for a consumer brand.
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or similar lifecycle marketing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce and consumer marketing.
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience with Shopify-based brands.
  • Experience building influencer or affiliate programs.
  • Experience in outdoor, lifestyle, sporting goods, recreation, or consumer products industries.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and ecommerce reporting platforms.
  • Basic design proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience scaling DTC revenue channels.

Success in the First 90 Days

  • Launch and execute a comprehensive seasonal marketing calendar.
  • Improve email marketing performance and engagement metrics.
  • Take ownership of agency relationships and campaign planning.
  • Establish influencer and affiliate acquisition programs.
  • Implement reporting frameworks and KPI dashboards.
  • Create measurable improvements in channel performance and customer engagement.
