Role Description
The Pharmaceutical Segment Leader will support the commercial success of our medical businesses with a focus on driving revenue growth in the Pharma market. Key responsibilities include ongoing development and execution of value proposition, marketing and commercialization plans to include operational capabilities within focused segments of PFS (Prefilled Syringes); Drug/API, Pharma Packaging, and Bio-processing. This position will have no direct reports.

Establish and manage global TAM and SAM of targeted sub-segments within the pharmaceutical segment to focus commercial team activities.

Support development and execution of annual global growth strategy (revenue targets, growth rates, marketing plans, and key marketing initiatives).

Partner with Senior Director Corporate Strategy, Pharma Business to mine voice of customer (VOC) & gather market insights.

Support identification of critical operational capabilities, licenses, and certifications needed for pharmaceutical requirements (e.g., GMP, cold chain management).

Serve as the pharmaceutical industry subject matter expert to support cross-functional decision-making and broad-based business strategy.

Lead and oversee the development and execution of Pharma sales training and communications.

Work with Marketing Manager to create and maintain effective marketing content and sales tools.

Manage resources, timelines, and budgets associated with projects in areas of responsibility.

Represent Sterigenics at external, customer-facing events to gather VOC and market insights.

Build and maintain strong cross-functional working relationships within Sterigenics and across Sotera Health and sister BUs.

Identify and grow relationships with industry associations, special interest groups, and thought leaders/influencers.

Maintain a working knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements associated with terminal sterilization.

Provide prompt response and support to the sales organization.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering.

Relevant product management, marketing, engineering, operations, or sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Demonstrated experience with business case development (market research, data analytics, etc.).

Demonstrated knowledge of the pharmaceutical manufacturers’ supply chain across the product lifecycle.

Exhibit a strong sense of urgency for executing strategic plans and achieving product revenue goals.

Strong analytical and communication skills (oral and written).

Demonstrated creative, innovative thinker with program/lead gen design and execution experience.

Proficient at managing multiple projects with tight and often competing deadlines.

Digital and media management experience (social media, editorial calendars, eblasts).

Global experience a plus.

Attested project leadership and critical thinking skills.

Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to work remotely or in an office setting.

Experience or exposure to using non-sales channel marketing, including seminars, webinars, key opinion leaders, peer-to-peer education programs a plus.
Requirements
