[Hiring] Seasonal Social Media Publishing Coordinator @Unrivaled Basketball

Role Description

Unrivaled is seeking a Seasonal Social Media Publishing Coordinator to provide support across all of Unrivaled's platforms, for its basketball clubs during the 2026–2027 Unrivaled season. The engagement is expected to begin on December 26, 2026 and continue through approximately mid-March 2027, subject to completion of the agreed scope of services. The services are expected to be performed remotely, except as otherwise agreed by the parties.

• Publish content daily across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, and other platforms.
• Execute live posting and fan engagement during games, events, and key announcements.
• Own and maintain Unrivaled's Hootsuite account, including:
  • Scheduling and queuing all approved content across connected platforms.
  • Applying consistent tags and campaign labels to every post (e.g., game day, brand partner, league news, athlete features) to support accurate reporting and cross-team visibility.
  • Maintaining organized content calendars/streams within Hootsuite so campaigns, sponsorships, and key moments are easy to track at a glance.
  • Managing content library assets, saved captions, and approval workflows within the platform.
  • Monitoring Hootsuite streams for real-time mentions, comments, and engagement opportunities.
  • Pulling and logging Hootsuite analytics/reporting to track post performance and engagement trends by campaign.
  • Managing user access, permissions, and platform integrations as needed.
  • Flagging and troubleshooting publishing issues, platform connection errors, or approval bottlenecks.
• Write engaging, on-brand captions tailored for each platform and audience.
• Schedule posts in advance using social media management tools.
• Ensure posts are formatted and optimized (captions, tags, thumbnails, links, etc.) for each platform.
• Collaborate with content, creative, and strategy teams to align on campaigns, voice, and tagging conventions.
• Track and log published posts, fan interactions, and engagement trends.
• Stay updated on social media platform features, publishing best practices, and trends.
• Conduct final quality-control checks before publishing, including captions, player and partner tags, links, thumbnails, disclosures, campaign labels, and publishing times. Escalate any sensitive fan interactions, publishing errors, or reputational issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or a related role.
• Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and X.
• Hands-on experience with Hootsuite or a comparable social media management platform, including scheduling, tagging, and campaign organization; Hootsuite experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt captions and tone across platforms.
• Comfort with engaging directly with fans and handling community management.
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with scheduling tools (Sprout, Later, Hootsuite, or similar) preferred.
• Passion for sports and digital storytelling.
