Role Description
As a Search & Display Media Specialist II, you are primarily responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing optimization of digital advertising strategies on Amazon. You will also support the Business Development team by working directly with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with account teams
- Solve problems with internal and external stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry trends
- Provide performance reporting, analysis, and data-informed recommendations
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Execute complex programmatic and sponsored advertising strategies to achieve campaign objectives
- Proactive, ongoing analysis and optimization of campaigns to uncover insights that maximize performance and drive toward client goals
- Ensure timely and professional communication with clients and internal teams
- Identify and address marketing challenges by collaborating with internal marketing/sales teams, manufacturers, and retailer resources
- Provide regular reports and analysis of campaign performance and insights
- Research competitive and keyword landscape to determine appropriate targeting
- Ensure spend pacing aligns with the agreed-upon budget
- Become proficient in and leverage research, automation, and execution platforms and tools
- Assist in developing and presenting creative and solution-oriented strategies for prospective clients
- Maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the digital advertising landscape
Qualifications
- Fluent in German and English
- 3-5 years' experience with both search and programmatic advertising
- Experience with Amazon Advertising or other retail media channels
- Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level
- Preferred experience: Downstream, Tableau, Skai, Jungle Scout/Cobalt, Criteo/Citrus Ads, and retailer ad console platforms
- Ability to travel once a month to meet with clients across Germany
Knowledge/Skills
- Experience with the development and execution of strategic media plans for search and programmatic
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Amazon tools, including the Amazon Advertising suite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends
- Ability to problem-solve and multitask
- Certification in Amazon Advertising is a plus
Requirements
