Role Description
As the Principal Product Marketing Manager for the StrongDM business unit, you will be the primary architect of the market narrative for next-generation infrastructure access. You will bridge the gap between technical product capabilities and business-critical outcomes, ensuring our "Zero Trust" and "Just-In-Time" access stories resonate deeply with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Security Leadership.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a sophisticated blend of technical depth, strategic vision, and exceptional storytelling. You will own the GTM strategy and positioning for StrongDM, ensuring its specialized value proposition is amplified within the broader Delinea Platform story.
Key Responsibilities

Positioning & Messaging

Define and refine the value proposition for StrongDM

Translate complex technical features into clear, benefit-driven narratives

Develop persona-based messaging tailored to technical practitioners and executive decision-makers

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
-
Lead end-to-end GTM execution for product launches and major feature releases
-
Work cross-functionally to develop and execute GTM/pipeline plays to land new logos for Delinea with StrongDM and sell StrongDM to the Delinea installed base

Coordinate across Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment and impact

Track and report on the effectiveness of GTM programs and adjust strategies as needed

Sales Enablement

Develop high-impact sales tools, including pitch decks, discovery guides, and competitive battlecards

Create ROI models and business cases that empower the field to win enterprise deals
-
Conduct training sessions for the global sales organization on new products and competitive positioning

Thought Leadership & Content

Author original content, including white papers, technical blogs, and webinar scripts
-
Work with the demand generation team to create assets that drive high-quality leads
-
Represent Delinea/StrongDM at industry events and conferences
-
Competitive Intelligence

Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape (such as Teleport, CyberArk)

Provide actionable insights and "cheat sheets" to Product and Sales teams to maintain a winning edge

Market Influence and Analysis

Lead the strategic engagement with top-tier industry analysts, conducting product briefings, inquiry sessions, and strategy days to shape perceptions, validate market differentiation, and influence analyst evaluations

Conduct research and customer interviews to identify emerging trends in cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure

Feed market requirements back into the Product Management team to influence the roadmap
Qualifications
-
8-12+ years of experience in Product Marketing within cybersecurity or B2B SaaS
-
Direct experience in PAM, IAM, or DevOps/Infrastructure tooling is a significant advantage
-
Willing to consider candidates with less experience who have relevant domain knowledge
-
Proven track record of creating and executing GTM strategies that drive measurable ARR growth
-
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and present them compellingly to both practitioner and C-suite audiences
-
Comfortable engaging with technical architects and engineers; ability to understand the "how" of a product to better market the "why"
-
Exceptional ability to collaborate across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams in a fast-paced environment
-
Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or Pragmatic Institute certification is a plus
