Role Description

Support Hily’s consumer and product PR campaigns in the US.

• Secure earned media coverage in top-tier lifestyle, consumer, tech, business, relationships, and TV media.
• Develop and pitch original data-driven, expert-led, newsjacking and product stories to relevant media outlets.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and producers.
• Work with Hily’s internal experts to source comments and prepare media materials.
• Write clear, engaging press releases, media pitches, expert comments, briefs, and other PR content in English.
• Maintain media lists, campaign reports, and work on new PR ideas.
• Work closely with product, marketing, social, design, and other teams.

Qualifications

• You live and breathe PR, love what you do, and most of all, love seeing the results.
• You have proven experience in consumer, product, lifestyle, tech, or corporate PR.
• You have a track record of securing brand mentions in top-tier US and/or UK media outlets — or you’re very eager to gain some.
• You write and speak English fluently and can create polished press releases, pitches, and expert comments with minimal editing.
• You know what makes a story newsworthy and can turn an idea, a data point, or a trend into a pitch journalists want to open and cover.
• You are highly organized, reliable with deadlines, and able to manage several campaigns and tasks at the same time.
• You’re not afraid to experiment and try new approaches.
• You love winning, and if you lose, it’s only temporary.
• You care about quality, move quickly when needed, and want to see your work turn into real media coverage.
• You’re ready for the next big chapter of your career.

Requirements

• Experience working specifically with US and UK consumer, lifestyle, dating, relationships, tech, business, or TV media.
• Experience creating and pitching survey-led or data-driven PR stories.
• Existing relationships with journalists, editors, and producers in priority US or UK outlets.
• Background in media and/or PR agency.
• A lovely cat or dog that’s ready to make a cameo during virtual meetings.
