Role Description
We are looking for an exceptional Portfolio Digital Marketing Officer to lead marketing strategy, growth and commercial performance across a portfolio of businesses, brands and offers. This is not a conventional single-brand marketing role.
-
Work closely with the Founder, COO and senior leadership team to shape and execute marketing strategy across multiple businesses.
-
Create clarity across the portfolio regarding growth opportunities, channel investments, underperforming offers, and resource allocation for maximum commercial return.
-
Provide both strategic leadership and strong digital marketing depth.
-
Build the strategy, set the standard, allocate resources, create accountability, and ensure marketing activity translates into measurable commercial growth.
Qualifications
-
Significant experience in a CMO, Marketing Director, VP Marketing, Head of Growth or equivalent senior role.
-
Strong experience in digital-first, direct-to-consumer, education, coaching, subscription, SaaS, information products or similarly performance-led environments.
-
Demonstrable responsibility for revenue-generating marketing strategies.
-
Strong understanding of paid acquisition, funnels, CRM, lifecycle marketing and conversion optimisation.
-
Experience managing significant marketing budgets and making investment decisions based on ROI.
-
Strong knowledge of customer acquisition economics, including CAC, LTV, ROAS and conversion.
-
Experience leading multi-disciplinary marketing teams.
-
Strong analytical and commercial capability.
-
Experience managing external agencies, freelancers and specialist partners.
-
Strong understanding of brand positioning and customer messaging.
-
Experience working with senior executives and Founders.
-
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
-
Ability to move between strategic portfolio-level thinking and detailed performance analysis.
-
Experience working across multiple businesses or brands simultaneously would be highly advantageous.
Requirements
-
Develop and own the overarching marketing strategy across the portfolio.
-
Translate business objectives into clear marketing priorities, growth plans and measurable targets.
-
Identify the strongest growth opportunities across brands, products, markets and customer segments.
-
Monitor customer acquisition cost, ROAS, funnel conversion, lifetime value and other relevant performance measures.
-
Provide senior oversight across various digital marketing disciplines.
-
Ensure each brand within the portfolio has a clear positioning, target audience and market proposition.
-
Assess the structure, capability and effectiveness of internal and external marketing resources.
-
Ensure the marketing function has the systems and processes required to operate effectively.
-
Work across the organisation to ensure marketing is connected to wider commercial priorities.
Benefits
-
Significant autonomy.
-
Direct access to the Chairman and Portfolio COO.
-
Responsibility for shaping how marketing investment is deployed across multiple businesses.
-
The opportunity to influence strategy across brands at different stages of maturity.
-
A fully remote working environment, aligned to UK or Dubai working hours.
What This Role Is Not
-
This is not a role for someone who wants to personally run every campaign.
-
You will not be expected to personally build every funnel, manage every paid campaign, write every email, or approve every social post.
-
You will not spend your time pulling reports manually or accept activity as a substitute for commercial performance.
The Person We're Looking For
-
The ideal candidate is commercially obsessed.
-
You care about brand, creative and customer experience, but understand that marketing ultimately needs to generate profitable, sustainable growth.
-
You are comfortable challenging assumptions, legacy approaches and underperforming activity.
-
You understand the difference between managing marketing activity and leading a growth engine.
-
You can operate across multiple businesses without becoming consumed by whichever brand happens to be shouting the loudest.
