[Hiring] Paid Search Director @Wpromote

Role Description

We’re looking for a Director to join our rapidly expanding B2B Paid Search team. You’ll directly manage a team of paid search experts running search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns across both Google Ads and Microsoft Ads for a portfolio of B2B clients.

• Oversee a growing portfolio of business and provide strategic leadership across client engagements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to keep the department running smoothly.
• Bring thought leadership and deep B2B paid search expertise to help evolve our approach.
• Strengthen client partnerships and keep Wpromote Paid Search at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing B2B paid search programs within agency and/or client-side environments.
• Minimum of 2 years prior staff management experience with demonstrated success in developing, mentoring, and leading high-performing team members.
• Experience supporting sophisticated SaaS, fintech, HR/payroll, SMB platform, or similarly complex performance marketing businesses.
• Deep expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, campaign architecture, automation strategies, audience targeting, bidding frameworks, feed management, and enterprise-scale optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience leveraging performance data, GA4, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, highly visible enterprise environments.
• Strong track record driving operational rigor, process improvement, and strategic recommendations through data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Serving as a senior strategic partner and extension of clients’ marketing organizations.
• Operating as both a strategist and hands-on practitioner.
• Managing complex account structures across SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other relevant paid search platforms.
• Navigating multiple stakeholder groups and evolving growth objectives.
• Driving strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, testing roadmaps, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Translating complex performance trends and business insights into clear recommendations for senior client stakeholders.
• Partnering closely with Client Strategy, Analytics, Strategy, Creative, and channel leadership teams.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation, growth, process improvement, and operational scalability.
• Leading, developing, mentoring, and supporting Paid Search team members.
• Providing strong oversight of campaign execution, QA processes, account health, and delivery standards.
• Driving innovation and thought leadership across enterprise paid search strategy.
• Managing and escalating critical client or account issues appropriately.
• Staying at the forefront of emerging trends, platform changes, AI-driven search developments, and evolving enterprise paid media strategies.
