Role Description

The Marketo Field Engineering position is a client-facing role focused on helping clients to realize and quantify value driven by our Adobe solutions. This position will require technical and business knowledge in all Marketo features including integration methodologies, in-depth strategic and analytical skills. Field Engineers will work to gather and understand their client’s unique business objectives and provide advice on how best to meet their needs using one or more Adobe solutions. In addition, Field Engineers will collaborate cross-team to deliver recommendations, including technical and strategic services to help drive business impact and support business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketo Expertise & Strategic Consulting
  • Be a recognized authority in Marketo Engage and integrated Adobe solutions following best practices and industry standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the standard methodologies and best practices for B2B marketing automation.
  • Quickly assess the client's technical environment and identify gaps in implementation versus business objectives and goals.
  • Translate business use cases into scalable Marketo solution designs.
  • Review technical designs for alignment to KPIs, business objectives, and implementation feasibility.
• Architecture, Integrations & Technical Guidance
  • Analyze complex technical issues and facilitate the presentation of solution options.
  • Advise customers on architectural design development and B2B data models.
  • Provide troubleshooting and design guidance for advanced Marketo data structures.
  • Review API usage patterns and integration architecture.
  • Demonstrate experience with integration technologies and patterns.
• Automation, Campaigns & Platform Optimization
  • Evaluate Smart Campaign design and processing impact.
  • Support troubleshooting of advanced Marketo automation issues.
  • Support troubleshooting and best practice design guidance for Marketo’s design studio assets.
  • Leverage various AI tools to optimize workflow and accelerate delivery.
• Client Engagement & Delivery Management
  • Balance a high-volume portfolio of client engagements.
  • Interact frequently with clients via Microsoft Teams and email.
  • Keep accurate daily records of project hours and workload estimates.
  • Use Microsoft Office and multiple AI agents to build client documentation and presentations.
  • Maintain the highest level of technical expertise through learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge of Adobe Marketo Engage.
• Capacity to understand business requirements and translate them into architecture and design activities.
• Experience articulating technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Possess an innovative, problem-solving approach utilizing Adobe solutions.
• 7+ years of direct client consulting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
