We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support and execute strategic marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role requires a proactive and highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, external vendors, and key partners.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency, optimizing engagement, and enhancing brand visibility through digital, content, and paid marketing efforts. This individual will oversee marketing collateral, social media integration, website SEO alignment, and lead generation initiatives to support business growth.

Additionally, the role requires a strong understanding of marketing analytics, vendor coordination, and campaign execution to drive performance. The Marketing Coordinator will track key marketing metrics, manage reporting, and ensure that all outbound content aligns with company messaging and strategic objectives.

This position will report to the Director, Marketing. This position can be located in either our AWCape office in Cape Town or ability to work remotely in the Gauteng province with ability to travel to the Cape Town office as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities

Global Support & Cross-Regional Collaboration

  • Operate within a global framework, ensuring adaptability to support teams, meet deadlines, and participate in virtual meetings across multiple time zones, including Canada, South Africa, the U.K., and the U.S.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders, adjusting to varying schedules and regional marketing priorities as needed.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and coordination across global teams to drive marketing initiatives and brand consistency.
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate time-sensitive marketing campaigns and cross-regional collaboration.

Networking, Conferences & Industry Engagement

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and partner summits to enhance brand visibility and foster strategic relationships.
  • Coordinate marketing materials, sponsorships, and event logistics to maximize engagement at in-person and virtual events.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for brand partnerships and co-marketing initiatives with industry leaders.
  • Gather insights from events and networking opportunities to refine marketing strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.

Marketing Coordination & Execution

  • Support the execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and vendors.
  • Manage day-to-day marketing operations, including campaign execution, content approvals, and asset distribution.
  • Coordinate external vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.

Content & Brand Management

  • Oversee content creation and approvals for social media, blogs, email marketing, and website updates.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, maintaining visual identity and messaging.
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including presentations, white papers, and case studies.

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

  • Support demand generation efforts, ensuring alignment between social media, SEO, and paid advertising.
  • Manage reporting and tracking for digital campaigns, leveraging insights to optimize performance.
  • Assist with marketing automation, email campaigns, and CRM-based lead nurturing.

Partnership & Event Support

  • Maintain relationships with partners (e.g., Sage, Clio) and coordinate co-marketing initiatives.
  • Develop promotional materials and presentations for firm-wide and partner events.
  • Curate and distribute monthly newsletters and internal communications.

Project Management & Analytics

  • Track marketing performance metrics, providing insights to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Support budget tracking, ensuring campaigns remain within allocated resources.
  • Assist in internal communication initiatives to enhance company culture and engagement.

Marketing Meetings and Internal Collaboration – FireFlies?

  • Attend and document all global marketing meetings, ensuring action items are completed.
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to streamline processes.
  • Provide administrative and strategic support to the Director, Marketing, Sales and Operations Leadership
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years in a regional marketing coordination, sales support, or marketing support role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or in lieu of degree 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite, with hands-on experience in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience using HubSpot for CRM and marketing automation, Canva for design, ChatGPT for content generation, and Asana for project management.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, social media management, digital advertising, and content marketing.
  • Proven ability to develop marketing collateral, newsletters, email campaigns, and content strategies that align with regional and global marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate multi-regional marketing strategies, ensuring messaging consistency across diverse markets while adapting to local audience needs.
  • Experience coordinating marketing events, industry conferences, and sponsorships, with a strong focus on ROI-driven marketing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS marketing or within the outsourced accounting industry.
  • Understanding of financial software solutions and cloud-based ERP platforms like Sage Intacct or similar.
  • Familiarity with lead generation strategies specific to accounting, finance, and professional services sectors.
  • Experience managing co-branded marketing efforts with software vendors, partners, or resellers.

Work Environment

Work can take place either in an open office setting or remote setting with the expectation to travel onsite based on business and management needs. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible and regular full-time schedule. It requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time and communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person, by phone and by computer.
