[Hiring] Market Research, Lead Generation & Google Ads Testing Specialist @Somewhere

Role Description

We are hiring a Local Market Research, Lead Generation & Google Ads Testing Specialist to support our outbound sales and local lead generation business. This is not a traditional media buying role. Your job is to research local contractor markets, find businesses that are already buying leads, and help launch small Google Ads tests to prove demand.

You will help us identify markets where customers are actively searching for services, contractors are already paying for leads, and SEO competition looks weak or fragmented.

• Validating local markets quickly
• Identifying profitable contractor niches
• Building clean contractor lead lists
• Reviewing basic local SEO opportunities
• Helping launch small Google Ads tests
• Supporting trial lead generation

You will work directly with the founder and follow a clear, repeatable playbook.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with Google Ads (campaign setup + navigation)
• Familiarity with keyword research tools (Google Keyword Planner)
• Strong analytical thinking
• Ability to follow structured processes

Requirements

• Experience with local SEO
• Lead generation campaigns
• Call-based conversion tracking
• Exposure to rank-and-rent or affiliate-style models
