Role Description
The Market Research Analyst is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for playing a pivotal role in conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and uncovering insights that inform decision-making processes. The Market Research Analyst contributes to shaping marketing initiatives, product/services development, and overall market positioning.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, target audiences, and research methodologies.

Gathers data from primary and secondary sources, including surveys, industry reports, databases, and online sources.

Assists in identifying and defining target markets, customer segments, and positioning strategies.

Collects data on consumers, competitors, and marketplace and consolidates information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.

Creates clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations that communicate research findings to internal stakeholders.

Understands business objectives and designs surveys to discover prospective consumer preferences.

Analyses quantitative and qualitative data to extract meaningful insights and trends.

Performs valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis.

Uses online market research and catalogs findings to databases.

Provides competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identifies market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation.

Evaluates program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct.

Contributes to improving research methodologies, data collection processes, and analysis techniques.

Remains fully informed on market trends, other parties' research, and implements best practices.

Identifies emerging industry trends, market opportunities, and potential challenges to inform business strategies.

Qualifications
