[Hiring] Manager, Trade Shows @Stryker

Role Description

We’re seeking an experienced Trade Show & Events Marketing leader to drive the strategy, execution, and impact of key industry events for Stryker’s Peripheral Vascular business. This role will partner closely with Marketing and cross-functional teams to identify high-priority trade shows, lead end-to-end event execution, manage agency and vendor relationships, and deliver measurable business results. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic thinking, exceptional project management and communication skills, and 8+ years of experience in tradeshows, events, or marketing, with the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Manage the execution and logistics of trade shows to achieve business objectives.
• Assist Marketing in determining which trade shows are strategically critical, each trade show’s focus, and who should attend the show.
• Produce trade shows ensuring consistency and collaboration while following established guidelines, processes, procedures and tools.
• Educate cross-functional teams, provide direction and establish solutions where appropriate.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive event project plan for all set up tasks, product needs, collateral, bookings and other details.
• Approve the design, layout, cost and construction of exhibits.
• Negotiate with vendors and service providers for best arrangements within budget.
• Maintain and build relationships with Peripheral Vascular’s industry and trade associations.
• Create pre-show briefing documents and run pre-show business meetings.
• Conduct and communicate post-show analysis, including metrics.
• Facilitate the lead tracking software and process onsite.
• Manage the coordination of VIP tours, customer events and engagements, delegating where appropriate to other team members.
• Recognize opportunities to sponsor conference sessions that align with marketing goals.
• Identify and investigate new trade show marketing opportunities based on business priorities and goals.
• Travel 30 – 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field required.
• 8+ years’ work experience in marketing, tradeshows, events or related field.

Requirements

• MBA Preferred.
• 8 years of Tradeshows, Events or related Marketing experience preferred.
• People leadership experience preferred.
• Trade show strategy experience preferred.
