Role Description

Create engaging marketing assets for exciting gaming products with global reach.

• This role is focused on creating a wide range of marketing assets using existing game content rather than producing in-game artwork.
• You will be responsible for transforming game assets into engaging promotional content across static and video formats that support user acquisition, brand awareness, and marketing campaigns.
• Working closely with the marketing and product teams, you will independently manage multiple creative projects while delivering professional marketing materials across a variety of platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality static marketing banners for digital campaigns.
• Design game thumbnails, store graphics, and promotional artwork.
• Produce animated GIFs and SVG banners for marketing campaigns.
• Capture gameplay footage and edit engaging promotional videos and trailers.
• Create short-form video content for digital marketing channels and social media.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, text, visual effects, and audio where required.
• Adapt and resize creative assets across multiple platforms and campaign formats.
• Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to deliver high-performing creative campaigns.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Marketing Artist, Graphic Designer, or Digital Designer role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both static and animated marketing assets.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Practical working experience with Adobe After Effects.
• Experience using Premiere Pro or similar video editing software.
• Ability to capture and edit gameplay footage into professional marketing videos.
• Good understanding of typography, branding, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience creating digital advertising creatives across multiple platforms.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience creating promotional materials for games, mobile apps, online entertainment, or similar digital products would be highly advantageous.
• Experience working within the gaming industry.
• Knowledge of mobile gaming or online entertainment.
• Experience producing creatives for paid social media campaigns.
• Basic understanding of UI design principles.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
• Experience using AI-powered creative tools to improve productivity.

Benefits

• Salary range: R50,000 – R65,000 per month.
