Role Description

As Head of Regional Growth Operations, you will be responsible for driving activity growth by ensuring our promotional initiatives are both strategically aligned with business goals and adapted to local market dynamics.

  • Plan and drive regional growth plans at scale
  • Define and implement a scalable framework, ensuring that local market initiatives are aligned with business objectives and commercial priorities across all regions.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of promotional activities and operational initiatives, ensuring plans are aligned to local specificities while maintaining global consistency where needed.
  • Establish clear performance tracking processes, ensuring that market trends, competitive landscape, and player behaviors are systematically analyzed and acted upon at both local and global levels.
  • Work closely with data analytics teams to ensure that Regional Growth Managers have the right insights, KPIs, and measurement tools to optimize their strategies efficiently.
  • Act as the key liaison between local marketing teams and central CRM, Acquisition, and Product teams based in Bordeaux, ensuring alignment and strong collaboration.
  • Translate central growth initiatives into effective local execution plans, ensuring that each market has the right tools, offers, and strategies to succeed.
  • Provide structured feedback loops from local teams to central stakeholders, ensuring that local market insights are acted upon.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Growth Managers in markets, empowering them to take ownership of their respective markets.
  • Oversee key local growth projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and with measurable impact.
  • Implement structured processes and best practices to scale local market success across multiple regions.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, agility, and data-driven decision-making within the regional growth team.
  • Act as the local outreach of Growth Marketing teams, ensuring that best practices, campaigns, and promotional strategies are effectively implemented across markets.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in local operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, automation, and execution speed at scale.
  • Drive a test-and-learn culture, ensuring that regional initiatives are continuously tested, measured, and iterated upon with local nuances to optimize engagement, retention, and commercial performance.
  • Establish structured reporting and feedback loops, ensuring that insights from local markets inform broader Growth Marketing strategies and contribute to continuous innovation.
  • Ensure all local initiatives are executed in compliance with regulations and safer gaming principles.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies, ensuring that Betclic remains at the forefront of innovation always.
  • Leverage data and player insights to identify new growth opportunities and increase our market share penetration.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and adaptation, ensuring that regional teams remain agile and proactive in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

  • Strategic thinking & business acumen – Ability to define a scalable growth framework, align initiatives with business objectives, and ensure sustainable commercial success.
  • Leadership – Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing teams with international backgrounds, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
  • Cross-Functional collaboration – Strong ability to act as a bridge between local and central teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment across marketing, CRM, acquisition, and product teams.
  • Agility & Adaptability – Ability to operate in a fast-moving industry, balancing long-term planning with immediate execution and quickly adjusting strategies based on market shifts.
  • Data-Driven decision making – Strong ability to analyze market trends, player behaviors, and performance metrics, using insights to optimize growth strategies.
  • Project & operational management – Experience in scaling and structuring processes to ensure efficient execution of promotions, growth campaigns, and regional initiatives.
  • Problem-Solving – Ability to identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and ensure operational excellence across local markets.
  • Marketing & Commercial Knowledge – Deep understanding of customer engagement strategies, promotional activities, and local marketing execution to drive player activity growth.
  • Growth Mindset – Proactive approach to identifying opportunities, testing new strategies, and continuously improving regional operations to drive business impact.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in a growth, revenue or marketing, leadership role within the digital B2C ecosystem.
  • Experience in a high-growth digital business with a strong regional expansion or market operations focus.
  • Proven experience managing multi-market teams and piloting teams across different business units and geographies.
  • Strong analytical skills, experience working with KPIs, dashboards, and market insights to optimize growth.
  • Mandatory English, fluency in French is a plus.
