Role Description
We’re hiring a
Growth Strategy Lead
to act as a strategic partner to our marketing and executive leadership team. This role focuses on understanding where growth is working, where it’s breaking, and how we should respond.

Operate across all acquisition channels, connecting signals from marketing, product, web, retail, and customer behavior.

Surface the highest-impact opportunities for growth and guide how we act on them, grounded in data and performance insights.

Proactively identify where to focus and how to improve performance.

Diagnose root causes when outcomes fall short and help the team align on clear next steps.

Frame the right questions and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
What You’ll Do

In Your First 45 Days:
-
Get up to speed on Hatch’s business, including growth strategy, channel mix, customer segments, and key performance drivers.

Build a clear view of current performance across marketing, web, and retail, identifying critical gaps and areas of opportunity.
-
Partner with marketing, product, and analytics to understand data structure and key blind spots.
-
Surface and prioritize 3-4 high-impact opportunities or risks, with clear hypotheses and initial recommendations.

By 90 days:
-
Synthesize inputs across marketing channels, retail, DTC, and market signals to identify growth opportunities and risks.
-
Partner with channel owners to shape test plans, size opportunities, and prioritize initiatives.
-
Translate complex or incomplete data into clear narratives for informed decision-making.

Establish a consistent cadence of insight sharing to keep teams and leadership focused.

After Your First Year:

Shape Hatch’s growth strategy, contributing to annual planning and long-term investment decisions.

Identify step-change opportunities across channels, customer segments, and new growth levers.
-
Serve as a trusted thought partner to marketing and executive leadership.
-
Improve marketing efficiency and business performance through strong prioritization and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
-
6+ years of experience in growth marketing strategy, business strategy, or similar roles within high-growth consumer or e-commerce environments.

Strong ability to work with data and synthesize it into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.

Experience in management consulting, business operations, or strategic growth roles strongly preferred.

Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
-
Comfortable stepping into ambiguous or high-pressure situations.
-
Deep understanding of marketing growth levers, including channel mix, audience expansion, and conversion optimization.

Experience designing and evaluating experiments across marketing and web channels.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tell clear, compelling stories.
-
High curiosity and strong business judgment.
