[Hiring] Growth Marketing Operator @Close

Role Description

We're hiring an AI-charged Growth Marketer to own demand at Close across paid, content, and channel. Building a demand engine looks different today than it did even 6 months ago. Buyers are searching in ChatGPT and Claude, watching YouTube reviews, and asking communities long before they ever Google "best CRM for small businesses."

You'll pick the channels worth betting on, build them, and use AI as a force multiplier to ship the work of a much bigger team. We do have a product people love, content worth distributing, and an org that's already deeply AI-forward.

You are:

• An operator who can put together a multi-channel growth plan and execute it.
• Obsessed with organic and how discovery is changing, with opinions about SEO in a world where people search in ChatGPT and Claude.
• Scrappy with resources, knowing how to place one or two bets instead of spreading across everything.
• A systems thinker, preferring to build channels that compound over time rather than running short-term campaigns.
• Outcome-oriented, caring about conversions and working collaboratively to fix issues.
• AI-leveraged, using AI to run experiments and create efficient systems.
• Experienced with 5-8+ years in B2B SaaS growth or marketing.

You will:

• Figure out where Close should show up and build it.
• Use AI as your team, building agent-assisted workflows for various marketing tasks.
• Own top-of-funnel traffic while caring about post-traffic outcomes.
• Win paid in a market where you can't outspend competitors.
• Build distribution partnerships for content co-creation and cross-promotion.
• Work with the content team to make content a growth lever.
• Prove it's working by tracking key metrics and building reporting systems.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in B2B SaaS growth or marketing.
• Experience in a lean team environment.
• Strong understanding of SEO and organic growth strategies.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Requirements

• Proven track record of driving traffic and conversions.
• Experience with AI tools and leveraging them for marketing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
