Role Description
Reporting into the Global Strategic Marketing VP, this role will support the strategic growth and market development of the Solenis LLC for the Light Industry Solutions Business Unit, driving market strategy, customer value propositions, and growth initiatives across light industry water management, process chemistry, sustainability, asset protection, and operational efficiency programs.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of the Light Industry Business Unit Strategy.

Lead certain Light Industry sector strategies.

Lead and/or support Regional Strategy Activation, including Growth Navigator initiatives, and Sector Playbooks.

Define priority sectors and sub-sectors at country, regional, and global levels.

Support Executive, RVP, and GSA calls to align and monitor strategy execution.

Lead VOC and Blueprinting initiatives for new adjacent markets and technologies.

Support M&A strategy and identify external growth opportunities within the light industrial industry.

Lead capability and growth projects across the business.

Own accredited market data gathering for SAM, market size, market segmentation, and CAGR analysis.

Create compelling sector value propositions.

Own narrative development for IPO and Investor Relations activities.

Lead strategic marketing initiatives for Light Industry and adjacent technologies, identifying market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities across key light industry sectors.
Measurements and KPIs

Key financial metrics: top line, gross profit, and EBITDA.

Incremental profitable growth per focus sector.

Delivery of key initiatives and projects according to agreed project plans.
Qualifications

Ideally 10+ years of experience in innovation, product development, strategic marketing, or business development roles at regional or global level.

Strong B2B experience in a multinational environment.

Experience in Light Industry, water management solutions, process chemistry, specialty chemicals, or related industrial markets.

Strong knowledge of cooling water, boiler water, wastewater treatment, water reuse, asset protection, sustainability initiatives, and operational efficiency programs.

Strong understanding of light industry sectors and customer challenges, particularly within manufacturing, food & beverage, commercial facilities, data centers, pharma, micro-electronics and other water-intensive industries.

Proven ability to develop market strategies, value propositions, and growth plans for technical solutions and light industry services.

Strong collaborator and comfortable interacting across multiple organizational levels.

Fluent/high-level English; additional regional language skills are a plus.

Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.

Highly customer-focused (internal and external) with a deep understanding of light industry markets and customer needs.
