The Global Segment Leader – Textiles & Industrial (T&I) is a senior commercial marketing role accountable for defining segment direction and, critically, executing the business: sharpening focus, accelerating pipeline conversion, and enabling sales teams to win.
Where You’ll Make a Difference:

Own the global strategic direction for the Textiles & Industrial segment, with accountability for revenue growth quality, pipeline health, and execution discipline.

Own segment level prioritization choices (where to focus/where not to), aligned with the portfolio, R&D capacity and regional readiness.

Translate segment strategy into clear commercial priorities for regions and key target accounts. Support strategic customer engagements together with Sales.

Enable global and regional sales teams with strong value propositions, differentiated use cases, strategic positioning, and pricing frameworks.

Drive quality, consistency, and adoption of sales tools and collateral.

Partner with Portfolio Team, Product Management, Applications, and R&D to prioritize, sequence, or deprioritize initiatives based on market impact, scalability, and execution readiness.

Partner on key launches and growth initiatives, ensuring sales readiness and effective go‑to‑market execution.

Establish and run a disciplined cadence with Sales and regions; track pipeline, win‑rate, and launches, and close gaps.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity, translating insights into actionable guidance for commercial teams.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific, technical, or business‑related discipline.

Ideally, 10+ years of experience in marketing, commercial, or business‑facing roles within B2B or specialty ingredients environments.

Strong marketing management mindset, with demonstrated ability to set direction, make prioritization choices, and drive commercial execution through cross‑functional teams.

Clear affinity with biotech‑enabled solutions and/or the textile and industrial value chain, including understanding of customer applications and decision drivers.

Proven ability to influence without authority in a global, matrix organization.

Strong customer orientation with the ability to balance strategic thinking and pragmatic delivery.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Comfortable working in international, multicultural environments and flexible to travel up to 30% as required.
