[Hiring] General Virtual Assistant – Social Media Management @GTE

Role Description

We are looking for General Virtual Assistants to support our team with posting and managing content of our Brands across our social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with different social media channels, and able to ensure content is published consistently and on time. You will help manage day-to-day social media activities, keep content organized, and support engagement and overall account management.

• Schedule and publish content across multiple social media platforms
• Manage daily social media posting calendars and ensure content goes live on time
• Upload captions, images, videos, links, and other content accurately
• Monitor social media accounts for comments, messages, and basic engagement
• Respond to comments and messages when appropriate, following provided guidelines
• Keep track of posted content and maintain organized social media records
• Coordinate with internal team members to collect and prepare content for publishing
• Ensure posts follow brand guidelines, tone of voice, and formatting requirements
• Monitor for any posting errors or issues and report them promptly
• Assist with basic social media research, including trends, competitors, and content ideas
• Support other general administrative and virtual assistant tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant or Social Media Assistant
• Familiarity with major social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others
• Experience using social media scheduling and management tools is a plus
• Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Proactive, reliable, and able to follow instructions while taking ownership of tasks
• Basic understanding of social media trends and best practices
