As we prepare to launch MariTide in the U.S. for Obesity and related conditions (OaR), we are building a Direct-to-Patient (DTP) channel to operate alongside traditional access pathways. This model includes digital intake, telehealth-enabled care, and end-to-end fulfillment, creating a single, integrated experience that routes patients across cash pay and reimbursed options based on their needs and coverage. The Executive Director (ED), Direct-to-Patient Lead, for OaR will lead the design, integration, and launch readiness of this model.
Key activities and accountabilities include the following:

Patient Experience and Journey Design
-
Define and own the end-to-end patient journey across intake, evaluation, prescribing, fulfillment, and refill.

Set the experience strategy and decision framework across cash pay and reimbursed pathways within a unified intake model.

Establish standards to reduce friction and ensure simple, transparent, and consumer-grade experience at scale.

DTP Operating Model & System Architecture

Define the DTP operating model, including core workflows, routing logic, and business rules across channels.

Set system architecture direction to ensure integration across telehealth, fulfillment, billing, and patient support programs.

Ensure the model scales across launch, future indications, and evolving access pathways.

Data Strategy & Performance Governance

Define the data strategy, including key data capture, ownership and use across the patient journey.

Partner with CD&A to establish performance frameworks and dashboards to track conversion, adherence, and channel effectiveness.

Drive continuous optimization through data, testing, and clear performance accountability.

Partner Strategy & Ecosystem Leadership

Define the partner ecosystem strategy across telehealth, fulfillment, and platform vendors.

Lead selection, governance, and performance management of partners, including SLAs and data-sharing standards.

Oversee integration, testing, and readiness to ensure operational stability at launch.

Cross Functional & Enterprise Leadership

Lead cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Value & Access, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Tax and Operations.

Set governance and decision frameworks for the DTP model, including payment models and seamless routing across access pathways.

Build and lead a high-performing organization, setting direction across strategy, operations, and partner integration.
Qualifications

Doctorate degree & 6 years of commercial, digital health, operations or marketing experience OR
-
Master’s degree & 10 years of commercial, digital health, operations or marketing experience OR
-
Bachelor’s degree & 12 years of commercial, digital health, operations or marketing experience AND
-
6 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.
Requirements
-
Experience in digital health, pharma commercialization, telehealth, consumer health, or adjacent industries with direct accountability for building new commercial channels.

Experience standing up end-to-end direct-to-consumer or direct-to-patient models, including intake, telehealth integration, fulfillment, payment workflows, and refills.

Success selecting, negotiating, and integrating external partners at scale, including fulfillment, telehealth, pharmacy, or platform vendors.

Deep understanding of cash pay economics, pricing transparency, and Gross-to-Net implications.

Experience operating in highly regulated environments with direct collaboration across Legal, Regulatory, Government Pricing, and Compliance.

Experience launching complex, multi-stakeholder operating models under compressed timelines with clear Go/No-Go decision frameworks.

Technical fluency, able to translate business requirements into system architecture, API integrations, data dashboards, and performance metrics.

Experience leading cross-functional build teams across commercial, operations, technology, and patient services.

Data-driven mindset with demonstrated ownership of conversion, retention, SLA performance, and customer LTV metrics.

Comfort operating under ambiguity and competitive pressure, with ability to make decisive trade-offs in high visibility launch environments.
