[Hiring] Email Growth Manager @Ruby Labs

Role Description

Ruby Labs is looking for a results-obsessed Email Growth Manager to join our Email Marketing department and report directly to the Marketing Director. This is a high-impact, data-driven role built for someone who lives and breathes conversion optimisation and growth experimentation.

Your mandate here is singular: grow email marketing as a conversion channel across all Ruby Labs brands. You will not be executing campaigns or managing day-to-day flows. Instead, you will be the engine behind our experimentation culture.

• Generate hypotheses, design A/B tests, analyse results, and roll out winners at scale.
• Study the competitive landscape to identify unexplored opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Email Lead, Email Marketing Specialists, and broader Marketing and Data teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conversion Growth Strategy: Develop and maintain a structured experimentation roadmap, continuously generating and prioritising hypotheses to improve email conversion rates.
• A/B Testing & Experimentation: Ideate, design, and launch A/B and multivariate tests on various elements with a focus on improving conversion metrics.
• Results Analysis & Rollout: Analyse test results, document learnings, and roll out winning experiments across all brands at scale.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitors' email strategies to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Email Sequence Ideation: Propose new email sequences and lifecycle flows focused on driving sign-ups and conversions.
• Performance Ownership: Track and report on key growth KPIs including conversion rate and revenue per email.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to align on growth priorities.
• Tool Utilisation: Identify opportunities within email tooling to support growth goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, growth marketing, or CRO.
• Solid experience with Customer.io or equivalent email automation platforms.
• Proficiency in Mixpanel or similar analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing methodology and experiment design.
• Growth mindset with an obsessive focus on conversion metrics.
• Highly analytical with experience in data-driven decision making.
• Natural ideator with a high volume of creative, testable hypotheses.
• Strong command of AI tools for various tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working with subscription-based or direct-to-consumer digital products.
