Role Description

We are looking for a data-driven, execution-focused E-commerce Performance Operator / Manager to take ownership of our digital storefront, growth marketing performance, and operational efficiency. This role will be driving customer acquisition, funnel conversion, unit economics, and operational execution in charge of media buying, conversion rate optimization (CRO) and retention marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Performance Marketing & Customer Acquisition
  • Oversee and optimize paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google Search/Shopping, TikTok, Direct Mail, etc.) directly or alongside external agency partners.
  • Manage daily/weekly performance targets against ROAS, MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio), CAC, and LTV.
  • Design, execute, and iterate creative testing frameworks in collaboration with designers and content creators.
• Shopify Optimization & Funnel Management
  • Continually audit and optimize the customer journey on Shopify (landing pages, PDPs, checkout, and upsell flows).
  • Launch A/B tests on site copy, offer structures, design, and page speed to increase Conversion Rate (CVR) and Average Order Value (AOV).
  • Build custom landing pages using builders like Rebuy, Unbounce, or Replo to support specific campaigns or offers.
• E-commerce Operations & Unit Economics
  • Monitor inventory velocity, product margins, and stock levels to ensure advertising spend aligns with supply chain reality.
  • Partner with fulfillment/logistics to track shipping times, landed costs, and customer delivery satisfaction.
  • Maintain rigorous oversight of unit economics, contribution margins, and platform/app fees.
• Analytics & Reporting
  • Build and maintain real-time performance dashboards (using Triple Whale, Northbeam, GA4, or BI tools).
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance summaries highlighting wins, test results, bottlenecks, and action items for management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing performance marketing and e-commerce operations for a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand.
• Shopify Expertise: Deep familiarity with Shopify ecosystem, apps (Klaviyo, Rebuy, Gorgias, Recharge, etc.), and landing page builders.
• Analytical Mastery: Ability to crunch numbers, interpret attribution models, and turn raw data into profitable operational decisions.
• Growth Mindset: Strong understanding of ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads), attribution tools, and A/B testing methodologies.
• Execution Focus: Highly organized self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle high-level strategy with day-to-day execution.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in Beauty, Apparel, CPG.
• Basic HTML/CSS/Liquid knowledge for light Shopify theme tweaks.
• Experience managing retention channels (Email/SMS via Klaviyo or Attentive).
