[Hiring] E-Commerce Manager @Penbrothers

Role Description

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, self-driven E-Commerce Manager to operate as an Individual Contributor taking end-to-end operational ownership of US market growth. Working directly with the US-based team lead (Brian) and the CEO (Leo), you will:

• Drive product assortment expansions
• Conduct competitor research
• Analyze marketplace trends
• Manage POD supplier relationships
• Optimize Shopify store conversions

The ideal candidate possesses deep commercial intuition for the US e-commerce market, strong data analysis capabilities, and the confidence to defend strategic recommendations independently without over-relying on automated AI outputs.

Work hours: Flexible 8-hour workday with a required 4-hour overlap with US Eastern/Standard Time zones (either morning or afternoon) to facilitate onboarding, training, and syncs.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3+ years of hands-on, end-to-end e-commerce operations experience
• Mandatory background in/deep understanding of the US e-commerce market (pricing, consumer culture, competitor landscapes)
• Strong proficiency with Shopify is highly preferred
• Prior experience managing POD supplier integrations, custom/personalized product lines, or giftable assortments is a strong plus
• High comfort with data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal English articulation

Requirements

• Familiarity with Asana (task management), Slack (communication), and standard Google Workspace tools
• Comfortable working autonomously without micro-management
• Able to defend strategic recommendations to founders
