Role Description
Addiction Pet Foods is looking for an experienced and commercially driven E-commerce Growth Lead to lead the growth of our e-commerce business across global markets. This role will manage and work closely with the global E-commerce Team to improve revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, and repeat purchases across marketplaces and direct-to-consumer channels. The E-commerce Growth Lead will be responsible for setting priorities, aligning market activities, improving team execution, and ensuring that e-commerce plans support the company’s overall commercial and brand objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can combine strategic thinking, commercial analysis, and day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities

Global E-commerce Growth:

Develop and execute the global e-commerce growth strategy across key markets.

Drive revenue, contribution profit, customer acquisition, conversion, and customer retention.

Identify growth opportunities across marketplaces, direct-to-consumer websites, and emerging digital channels.

Translate company targets into clear market, channel, and account-level action plans.

Balance short-term sales growth with long-term brand value and profitability.

Team Leadership and Management:
-
Manage, guide, and work closely with the global E-commerce Team.
-
Set clear priorities, responsibilities, targets, and performance expectations.
-
Conduct regular business reviews, coaching sessions, and performance discussions.
-
Help team members resolve operational, commercial, and platform-related issues.
-
Build consistent ways of working, reporting, and decision-making across markets.
-
Strengthen the team’s capability in marketplace management, performance analysis, and commercial planning.

Marketplace and DTC Management:
-
Lead growth across platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other relevant marketplaces.

Improve product listings, pricing, promotions, content, assortment, and platform visibility.
-
Ensure that campaigns and promotional activities deliver profitable and measurable results.
-
Work with internal teams to improve the online customer journey and conversion rate.
-
Support the development of market-specific channel strategies based on consumer behaviour and platform conditions.

Commercial and Performance Management:

Own and monitor key e-commerce metrics, including:

Revenue and sales growth.
-
Contribution profit and margin.
-
Customer acquisition cost.
-
Return on advertising spend.
-
Conversion rate.
-
Average order value.
-
Repeat purchase rate.
-
Traffic and customer retention.
-
Marketplace account health.
-
Analyse business performance and recommend corrective actions when results are below target.

Evaluate promotional effectiveness, advertising investment, and channel profitability.

Prepare clear performance reports, forecasts, and recommendations for management.
-
Ensure that growth decisions are supported by data and commercial evidence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Marketing, Performance Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and market teams.

Coordinate product launches, campaigns, inventory planning, and promotional calendars.
-
Align advertising, content, and commercial activities across marketplaces and brand-owned channels.
-
Ensure sufficient stock availability to support planned promotions and growth.
-
Collaborate with Finance to understand profitability, pricing, platform fees, and promotional costs.

Process Improvement and Technology:
-
Improve global e-commerce processes, reporting, and team workflows.
-
Introduce automation, dashboards, and AI-supported tools where appropriate.
-
Standardise performance tracking and account-management practices across markets.
-
Identify operational issues that may affect customer experience, order fulfilment, or marketplace performance.

Support the effective use and integration of e-commerce, analytics, and business systems.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
-
At least 7 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, marketplace management, or online retail.

At least 2–3 years of experience leading or managing an e-commerce team.
-
Strong experience managing e-commerce activities across multiple markets or countries.
-
Proven experience growing revenue while managing profitability and customer-acquisition costs.
-
Strong hands-on knowledge of major marketplaces, particularly Amazon.
-
Experience with Shopify and regional platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok Shop is an advantage.
-
Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, pet food, food manufacturing, or premium consumer brands is preferred.

Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capability.
-
Experience using e-commerce analytics, advertising, reporting, and automation tools.

Strong written and spoken English.
