[Hiring] Director of SEO and Agentic Search @LawnStarter

Role Description

You will own organic search and AI discovery across our brand portfolio. You set the vision, the roadmap, and the standards for how we compete in a world where Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Mode are all becoming primary discovery surfaces.

• Own organic strategy across our brand portfolio.
• Establish AI Search visibility as cited, authoritative sources in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.
• Manage technical SEO and architecture, including Core Web Vitals and structured data.
• Direct content strategy and production for pages, guides, studies, and resources.
• Lead team hiring and development.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Analytics, and Data.

• Understands external visibility as foundational to SEO strategy.
• Recognizes organic as a revenue driver, not just a traffic channel.
• Diagnoses issues quickly and acts decisively.
• Builds and elevates teams, developing leaders.
• Acts as a company-wide evangelist for SEO and AI Search.
• Technically fluent and willing to execute.
• AI native, using AI tools for various tasks.

• Experience in organic search and AI discovery.
• Proven track record in technical SEO and content strategy.
• Ability to lead and build teams.
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills.
• Expertise in AI search visibility and structured data.
