[Hiring] Director of Marketing @Genomadix

Role Description

This position is a remote position based in the United States or Canada. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Director of Marketing to lead a high-performing team in the development of marketing strategies and tactics, the creation of downstream marketing content and assets, and guide and support the sales team and our distributors to maximize sales success in our diagnostic portfolio. This role is ideal for a dynamic and experienced marketing leader who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is passionate about healthcare innovation. You will work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and our development teams to create compelling messaging and educational content aimed at building effective customer engagement, lead generation and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead your team in the development of strategic marketing plans, lead generation strategies, promotions strategies, and downstream marketing content.
• Hire and develop a team of high-performing marketing staff to implement marketing strategies and plans.
• Create high-impact educational content, marketing collateral, and other assets to support lead generation and sales activities worldwide.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop impactful marketing materials that support customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including educational webinars, print media, live events and outreach campaigns.
• Develop and manage educational webinars, partnering with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and driving attendance through effective promotion.
• Stay current on relevant scientific literature to ensure accurate and effective product positioning and development.
• Ensure all developed materials comply with Genomadix’s quality system and brand guidelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align marketing activities with broader business goals.
• Work with Key Opinion Leaders to derive market and product insights, identify future opportunities, advance Genomadix adoption and support our sales goals.
• Help gather customer and stakeholder feedback to guide product improvements and roadmap planning.
• Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to identify programs with highest yield and ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an asset).
• 7-12+ years of experience in Marketing in the IVD or medical device industry.
• Experience leading and developing high-performance teams.
• Strong understanding of strategic marketing, educational marketing, and lead generation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for creating engaging content.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with CRM systems, marketing outreach platforms, and content creation tools.
• Ability to leverage data to drive marketing strategy and decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with B2B marketing and customer segmentation in the IVD or medical device space.
• Experience developing educational content such as webinars, CMEs, and videos.
• Knowledge of current trends in precision medicine and diagnostics.
• Willingness to lead a team but also be an individual contributor.
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.
