[Hiring] Digital Platforms and Content Manager @Working Families Party

Role Description

The Digital Platforms and Content Manager will oversee all of California WFP's public-facing digital communications and design strategy during an exciting period of growth for our California chapter. This includes managing CA WFP’s social media accounts, website, and developing digital and creative content to engage our membership, partners, and candidates.

The ideal candidate is passionate about cultivating and growing online communities, understands the role of visual design in movements, and knows what it takes to break through online noise in 2026.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years preferred.
• Experience managing organizational social media accounts with high visibility.
• Strong graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms.
• Ability to produce polished visual content under tight deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced political environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Experience in political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or nonprofit communications (preferred).
• Basic video editing experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and other social media management tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with EveryAction, VAN, or similar organizing tools (preferred).

Working Conditions

• This is a full-time remote assignment but will require occasional travel for event coverage; applicants must be based in California.
• Some evening and weekend work should be expected during the election period.

• WFP is a unionized workplace. This is a bargaining unit position.
• WFP union employees are represented by Workers United affiliated with SEIU and the affiliated Local 1115, Workers United.
