Role Description
Valley Hope is expanding our Business team by adding the role of Digital Marketing Strategist. This can be a part-time or full-time work-from-home position; however, the ideal candidate will reside within an hour's drive of a Valley Hope of Overland Park facility.
As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will:

Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and service line priorities.

Identify opportunities to expand brand awareness, increase qualified leads, and improve patient acquisition through digital channels.

Monitor emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and competitive activity to recommend innovative strategies that improve digital marketing performance, patient acquisition, and brand visibility.

Develop and manage local search strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization, location-specific SEO, online reputation management, and local listings.

Manage and optimize paid search (PPC) and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.

Lead search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, keyword strategy, and content optimization.

Monitor search engine algorithm changes and implement strategies to maintain and improve organic rankings.

Manage CRM and marketing automation platforms to support lead management, patient engagement, and campaign effectiveness.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.

Partner with marketing, admissions, clinical leadership, and business development teams to support organizational initiatives.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs), website traffic, campaign effectiveness, lead generation, and return on investment.

Develop dashboards and reports to communicate digital marketing performance and strategic recommendations.

Ensure digital marketing efforts maintain brand standards and consistent messaging.

Coordinate with outside agencies, vendors, and technology partners as appropriate.

Maintain a current working knowledge of trends within the substance abuse treatment industry and with State and Federal regulatory requirements and guidelines.

Adhere to Valley Hope’s clinical philosophies, policies, and procedures to ensure quality patient care.

Participate in all assigned staff meetings, staff development, and training as required.

Interact and communicate with others (patients, co-workers, management, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

Three (3) years of digital marketing experience.

One (1) year of experience working on healthcare marketing campaigns.

Experience managing paid search (Google Ads), PPC campaigns, SEO initiatives, and digital advertising budgets.

Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and digital reporting platforms.

Experience using content management systems (CMS), website optimization tools, and SEO platforms.

Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
Requirements

Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience (preferred).

Five (5) plus years of digital marketing experience (preferred).

Three (3) plus years of experience working on healthcare marketing campaigns with a preference for behavioral health (preferred).

Google Ads Certification and/or Google Analytics Certification (preferred).
-
Experience with local SEO and multi-location marketing (preferred).

Work Environment
