Role Description
The client is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our digital presence and marketing execution. This is a hands-on role where you will:

Create content for our social media channels and website.

Manage our Google Ads campaigns.

Implement SEO improvements to our website.

Coordinate email marketing.
-
Use AI and automation tools to make our marketing smarter and more efficient.
You will work closely with the General Manager and Product Manager, who will provide strategic direction and content guidance.
Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media:
-
Create and manage content on our website and social channels.
-
Create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
-
Monitor and grow our social media presence by tracking performance metrics.
-
Manage and optimise Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising campaigns.
-
Engage with our online community by responding to comments and direct messages.
-
Write blog posts that reflect our destination expertise and support our SEO strategy.
-
Maintain a consistent content calendar and flag any content gaps or opportunities.
-
Google Ads Management:
-
Own the day-to-day management and optimisation of our Google Ads account.
-
Set up, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns.
-
Monitor landing pages and destination URLs for quality and conversion performance.
-
Use Google Ads Scripts, Automated Rules, and reporting tools to monitor performance.
-
Produce regular reports on campaign performance, search terms, geographic insights, and ROI.
-
Stay across Google Ads platform updates and recommend adoption where appropriate.

SEO & AI Search Optimisation:

Implement on-site SEO updates to our WordPress website as directed by our SEO agency.
-
Maintain a clear log of completed optimisations and outstanding tasks.
-
Ensure website content remains accurate and up to date.
-
Support our positioning in AI-powered search tools by following best-practice guidance.

Email Marketing & CRM:

Coordinate email campaigns and automated flows using MailerLite.
-
Segment audiences and maintain subscriber list health.
-
Monitor performance metrics and contribute to reporting and ongoing optimisation.
-
AI & Marketing Automation:
-
Use AI tools to support content ideation, copywriting drafts, and campaign asset production.
-
Identify opportunities to streamline marketing workflows through AI and automation.
-
Stay across emerging AI marketing tools and recommend adoption where they improve efficiency.
Qualifications
-
2+ years' experience in a digital marketing role.
-
Strong written English with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
-
A creative eye and genuine enthusiasm for visual storytelling.
-
Confident writing long-form content such as blog posts.
-
Solid understanding of social media platforms and Meta Ads Manager.
-
Hands-on experience setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns.
-
Comfortable working in WordPress and implementing SEO recommendations.
-
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (MailerLite preferred).
-
Strong working knowledge of AI tools.
-
Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar.
-
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home office setup.

A genuine passion for travel is a big plus.
