[Hiring] Digital Marketing Manager @Onyx Security

Role Description

Onyx Security is looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to own our digital acquisition engine. This is a builder's role: you'll run and optimize paid media, the website, content syndication, email nurtures, organic search, and social media, with external agency support. Working closely with campaigns, product marketing, and demand gen, you'll be the person who knows why CPL moved last week and what we're doing about it.

What You'll Own

• Website:
  • Own the marketing website as a conversion engine: performance, UX, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain the website roadmap with design, product marketing, and demand gen — prioritizing and scoping the work.
  • Develop new page strategies and layouts with design and demand gen: campaign landing pages, product and solution pages, and gated experiences.
  • Run a structured CRO program — hypothesize, test, measure, and iterate on messaging, layout, forms, and CTAs.
  • Partner with design on wireframes and developers on implementation, QA, and site speed, and report on what's working and what to do about it.
• Paid media:
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid search and display campaigns, including keyword research and copy testing.
  • Build paid social programs: campaign buildout, audience strategy, creative testing, and budget pacing.
  • Manage channel budgets against pipeline targets and make reallocation calls based on performance.
• Content syndication:
  • Manage vendor relationships, program setup, and lead quality QA.
  • Track downstream conversion by vendor and asset, optimizing spend and making budget recommendations accordingly.
• Email & nurture:
  • Build and optimize nurture programs in our marketing automation platform.
  • Own lifecycle segmentation, send cadence, and deliverability.
  • Run A/B tests against current best practices, tracking progress and iterating on the data.
• Organic search (SEO, AEO, GEO):
  • Own organic visibility strategy and execution, working with outsourced agency partners.
  • Oversee technical SEO alongside developers and agency partners, and handle on-page SEO.
  • Build for answer engine and generative engine visibility.
  • Partner with content on keyword strategy, briefs, and refresh priorities.
  • Work with agency partners on reporting that shows what's moving the needle, and make active recommendations on what to do next.
• Organic social:
  • Run the company's social presence, editorial calendar, and community engagement.
  • Amplify research, product news, and executive and practitioner voices.

Qualifications

• Direct experience marketing cybersecurity products to technical buyers — security practitioners, engineers, and CISOs.
• 6+ years running digital marketing in B2B, with meaningful hands-on time in paid media and organic search.
• Demonstrated ownership of a marketing website: CRO testing, page strategy, and roadmap planning.
• Direct experience managing paid search and paid social budgets and optimizing to a pipeline or revenue metric.
• Solid SEO fundamentals plus a view on how AI-driven search is changing discovery.
• Working knowledge of marketing automation (HubSpot or similar) and CRM (Salesforce or similar).

Requirements

• Nice to Have:
  • Experience with CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, Contentful) and A/B testing tools.
  • Familiarity with content syndication vendors and intent data platforms.
  • Experience with CTV or YouTube campaign execution.
