[Hiring] Digital Marketing Coordinator - Summer Internship @Prepr Foundation

Role Description

During this internship, you will assist in:

• Content writing
• Social media management
• Identifying target personas
• Building landing pages
• Managing AdWords campaigns and related analytics
• Conducting A/B testing to optimize campaigns

This job provides direct career experience by giving an opportunity to:

• Develop and modify implementations of CMS systems (WordPress & Drupal)
• Work in a team with other designers and developers
• Assist with editing and writing code
• Learn an agile project workflow

Your work will enhance the organization’s ability to deliver free skills-based education to youth and other community members.

• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Currently a student of/already have a bachelor’s degree in the area of marketing, technology, or another relevant field
• Ability to work in a technology-heavy environment and learn new tools and platforms quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field (bonus)
• Familiarity or experience with the AGILE methodology (bonus)
• Experience working with content management systems (e.g. WordPress & Drupal) and familiarity with AdWords and common digital analytics Key Performance Indicators (bonus)
• Experience in a scaling start-up or growing small-business environment (bonus)

Benefits

• $18.00 per hour
• 35 hours per week, 9am-5pm
• Monday to Friday
• Remote, work from home

This position is fully funded through Canada Summer Jobs, therefore candidates must be considered youth, and a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee residing in Ontario.
