Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in digital content, SEO, content management, digital marketing, or a related field

Hands-on expertise in managing and publishing content within a content management system (CMS)
-
Comprehensive understanding of technical and on-page SEO
-
Practical knowledge of implementing structured data and schema markup
-
In-depth knowledge of search intent, keyword research, internal linking, content architecture, and content optimization
-
Proven ability to conduct website and content audits and translate findings into actionable recommendations
-
Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
-
Solid understanding of HTML and webpage structure
-
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
-
Ability to collaborate with marketing, content, design, UX, development, and compliance stakeholders

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Advanced writing, editing, proofreading, and content organization skills

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to balance competing priorities
Requirements

Technical SEO experience using Semrush or similar platforms (strongly preferred)

Working knowledge of Schema.org and JSON-LD (strongly preferred)

Familiarity with AI search optimization, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), or Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) (strongly preferred)

Background in developing FAQ strategies based on user needs and search intent (strongly preferred)

Involvement in content migrations, website redesigns, or CMS implementations (strongly preferred)

Competence in using modern CMS platforms such as Webflow, Contentful, Storyblok, or similar systems (strongly preferred)

Capability to collaborate with developers and work with CSS, JavaScript, or APIs (strongly preferred)

Industry exposure in mortgage, financial services, real estate, or another highly regulated field (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities

Content Management and CMS:
-
Manage day-to-day content and publishing activities within the company's CMS and other digital platforms.
-
Publish, update, optimize, and maintain content across the company's primary website and other web properties.
-
Ensure content remains accurate, current, accessible, on-brand, user-friendly, and search-optimized.
-
Maintain consistent content structures, formatting, metadata, taxonomy, tagging, and page components within the CMS.
-
Collaborate with marketing, product, compliance, UX, development, and other stakeholders to deliver engaging digital content.
-
SEO and Organic Growth:
-
Execute on-page and technical SEO strategies across the company's digital properties.
-
Conduct regular content and SEO audits to identify opportunities, issues, and technical improvements.
-
Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image metadata, internal links, and other on-page SEO elements.
-
Develop and maintain internal linking strategies that improve user navigation and search engine understanding.
-
Perform keyword and search-intent research to support content planning and optimization.
-
Identify content gaps and opportunities based on search behavior, competitor activity, and business priorities.

Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Operations Specialist to monitor organic search performance and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Partner with developers and web teams to resolve technical SEO issues.

Technical SEO and Structured Data:
-
Develop, implement, and maintain Schema.org structured data across relevant website content.
-
Determine appropriate schema types and requirements for different page templates and content categories.
-
Develop FAQ strategies that enhance user experience and search visibility.
-
Monitor and troubleshoot technical SEO issues using Google Search Console, Semrush, and other SEO platforms.
-
Establish technical SEO standards and governance across the company's web properties.

Analytics and Optimization:

Monitor content and organic search performance using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
-
Track rankings, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, indexing, and other relevant KPIs.
-
Report regularly on content and SEO performance and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Apply performance data and insights to continuously optimize existing content.
-
Establish a consistent content optimization schedule based on audit findings.
-
