[Hiring] Digital Ad Account Manager @Rockstar

Role Description

This is a remote position. Rockstar is hiring a full-time Digital Ad Account Manager on behalf of a strategic marketing agency that helps businesses, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and public agencies grow through intentional, results-driven marketing.

This role supports the agency's marketing consulting team with day-to-day campaign execution, monitoring, and optimization across Google and Meta advertising. The VA will:

• Build and manage ad campaigns
• Track daily budget pacing
• Verify conversion tracking
• Run quality assurance before campaigns launch
• Keep client account documentation current

This is fundamentally a soft-skills-driven role: the agency will train on the technical specifics of Google Ads, but they need someone who is naturally curious, proactive, and comfortable questioning whether a strategy is actually working rather than following a checklist blindly.

The ideal candidate:

• Treats a drop in performance as a problem to investigate, not just report
• Is comfortable using AI tools like Gemini or ChatGPT to diagnose issues and propose next steps
• Knows how to bring a well-reasoned recommendation to the team rather than waiting to be told what to do

Qualifications

• Google Ads or digital advertising experience is a plus but not required; the agency will train on technical specifics
• Strong critical thinking and willingness to research and ask questions rather than follow a process blindly
• Excellent, proactive communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
• Comfortable using AI tools to support problem-solving and decision-making
