[Hiring] Content Marketing Manager @The Adaptavist Group

Today - The Adaptavist Group is hiring a remote Content Marketing Manager. πŸ’Έ Salary: unspecified πŸ“Location: UK

Role Description

The role of the Content Marketing Manager will focus on producing high-quality, branded content for products and services across The Adaptavist Group brands. You will be responsible for developing content from approved briefs on behalf of stakeholders across the group - delivered on time, to the quality bar and ready for distribution. You will deliver content production end-to-end, from ideation and research to editing and uploading the content for distribution.

This role sits within the Brand, Content and Comms team, reporting to the Content Lead with the overall goal of growing our commercial footprint across digital ecosystems - including Atlassian, monday.com, and others.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Content creation
    • Work with various stakeholders to design and develop fresh, engaging content across a range of formats and digital experiences (blogs, videos, emails, webinars, eBooks, social media posts, interactive tools, sound bites, etc.) to promote the benefits of our products and related activities.
    • Work from briefs routed through the Content Lead’s intake. Check that each brief has a clear objective, audience, call to action and confirmed distribution plan, and flag any gaps to the Lead early.
    • Research and run experiments with new content formats.
    • Manage content production end-to-end (planning, writing, editing, producing) and support with promoting and reporting across various media.
    • Conduct deep topic, audience and keyword research using online tools.
    • Other content production tasks such as briefing internal and external agencies on assets required for campaigns (creative assets, video, etc.).
  • Editorial support
    • Edit and optimise content from team members to ensure consistency and SEO and GEO visibility, ensuring content works for both human and AI consumption.
    • Be a tone-of-voice advocate.
    • Liaise with technical colleagues and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy.
    • Upload content to distribution channels such as the website via the CMS.
  • Content production and support
    • Identify ways to repurpose and maximise the value from existing high performing content.
    • Monitor content performance in Google Analytics and SEO tools to increase our search visibility.
    • Actively support and provide insight into the Marketing Team's monthly reporting and latest content trends; update the team on results; make recommendations; and help implement the changes.
    • Upload content to the website via the CMS and handle other content production tasks, such as briefing the design teams on assets required for campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a content-specific marketing role.
  • SEO and GEO knowledge and/or experience.
  • Strong commercial copywriting across multiple formats, with examples of editing others’ work to a publishable standard.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in content workflows, with specific examples.
  • Track record of delivering to deadline across multiple concurrent projects, and raising risks early.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
  • Experience working within and influencing collaborative teams from inception to implementation, particularly with designers and developers.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders at all seniority levels.
  • Experience using a project management tool, such as Jira or monday.com.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced, fast-growth B2B Tech environment.
  • Experience working in/with a Product Marketing team/function.
  • Experience working across multiple brands with distinct identities and tones of voice.
  • Comms and PR knowledge and/or experience.
  • Video production knowledge and/or experience.
  • Knowledge of creative tools, such as Canva.
  • Atlassian and/or monday.com knowledge and/or experience.

Benefits

  • Very generous holiday (PTO) allowance.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • MacBooks provided to all employees.
  • Support for fully remote workers to set up home offices.
  • Exceptional Time Away Policy including:
    • 26 weeks of fully paid leave for birthing parents.
    • 13 weeks for non-birthing parents.
    • Extended leave for adoption, IVF, surrogacy, elective egg freezing, and women's health needs.
  • Remote-first way of working.
