Role Description
We’re hiring a Content Marketing Manager to own how Toolio’s content reaches retail planners, merchants and the executives they report to. Every blog post, report, webinar and customer story we publish should become a steady stream of LinkedIn posts, emails and newsletter content. You’ll make that happen. You’ll run the content calendar, keep the pipeline full, and turn each piece into assets that get read, shared and acted on.
You’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing, so this isn’t a pure production role. We want someone with an editorial point of view who can spot gaps, suggest angles, and shape the campaigns that content feeds into. You’ll also be comfortable shipping a lot of good work, quickly.
What You’ll Do
-
Content Distribution & Atomization
-
Turn every new piece of content into downstream assets: LinkedIn posts, email copy, newsletter features, short-form excerpts and sales-ready snippets.
-
Own the content calendar and distribution schedule across LinkedIn, email and the newsletter.
-
Manage and organize the content library so the team and sales can find and reuse assets easily.
-
Spot gaps in the calendar and the library, and propose new topics, formats and refreshes to keep the pipeline moving.
-
Refresh and repurpose high-performing existing content to extend its reach.
-
Newsletter & Email
-
Own the Toolio newsletter end to end: planning, writing, building and sending.
-
Write, build, segment and send email campaigns in ActiveCampaign.
-
Maintain and improve nurture sequences across inbound, ABM and re-engagement, keeping the content fresh and on-message.
-
Campaign Execution
-
Partner with the Head of Marketing to turn campaign ideas into content plans and launch-ready assets.
-
Coordinate content for ABM programs in close collaboration with sales.
-
Support webinar and event marketing from promotion through post-event follow-up content.
-
AI-Assisted Content Workflows
-
Work within Toolio’s existing AI-assisted marketing systems to increase content output without sacrificing quality.
-
Find opportunities to build or improve workflows that reduce manual work in drafting, repurposing and campaign operations.
-
Stay current on AI tools for content and B2B marketing, and bring recommendations to the team.
-
Measurement
-
Track how content and distribution perform across LinkedIn, email, the newsletter and the website.
-
Report on what’s working, and use those findings to shape the calendar and future content.
Qualifications
-
2–4 years of experience in content marketing, content operations or campaign marketing, ideally at a sales-led B2B SaaS company.
-
A portfolio of content you’ve written, edited or repurposed across multiple channels.
-
Strong writing and editing skills. You can write a sharp email, a scroll-stopping LinkedIn post and a clean newsletter, and adapt your voice to each.
-
Experience managing a content or editorial calendar and keeping several pieces moving at once.
-
Hands-on experience with email marketing or marketing automation. ActiveCampaign is preferred but not required.
-
Comfort using AI tools as a core part of your workflow, as a productivity layer you actively use and refine.
-
Familiarity with a CMS. Webflow is a plus.
-
Organized and self-directed, comfortable managing multiple workstreams without much hand-holding.
-
A bias toward clarity and action. You’d rather ship, learn and improve than wait for a perfect plan.
Nice to Have
-
Experience in B2B SaaS, retail tech, or another industry with long, complex buying cycles.
-
Experience running a company newsletter or growing a LinkedIn audience.
-
Familiarity with ABM programs.
-
Experience building AI-assisted content workflows, such as prompt design, tool chaining or automation logic.
-
Exposure to Salesforce or a similar CRM, and to web analytics such as GA4.
-
Figma or Canva skills, or a basic design sense for producing assets.
