Role Description
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO will own the full marketing strategy across the Group. The role is remote, with a strategic responsibility for designing and piloting Sparteo's brand entry into the US market. This is a builder's role: you will structure what doesn't yet exist, challenge what does, and operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
π― Brand & Positioning
-
Define and operationalize Sparteo's brand strategy across all markets, ensuring coherent positioning as a premium AdTech player.
-
Lead brand architecture decisions across the Group's entities and products.
-
Design the US brand entry strategy: positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation adapted to the North American publisher and agency ecosystem, without a local team on day one.
-
Drive institutional visibility across all major ecosystem mappings.
-
Build and maintain a Trust Architecture across all markets: develop Sparteo's reputation on review platforms as a genuine reflection of customer satisfaction and a credibility signal.
-
Own thought leadership strategy: industry events, earned media, executive visibility on both sides of the Atlantic.
-
Oversee all external communications in coordination with PR partners.
π¦ Product Marketing
-
Partner with Product and Sales to translate technical capabilities into sharp go-to-market narratives.
-
Own the competitive intelligence framework: positioning maps, battlecards, win/loss analysis.
-
Drive product launches and define the messaging for each product line by market segment relevant to the US market.
-
Align ICP definitions across Sales and Marketing, per geography.
-
Own the WordPress plugin growth strategy: visibility on WordPress.org, ecosystem partnerships to accelerate installations, and alignment with publisher communities around the WP stack.
π Growth Marketing
-
Design and execute a full-funnel generation strategy, with clear KPIs by channel and market.
-
Own the marketing tech stack (CRM integration, marketing automation, attribution) and its ROI.
-
Define and track revenue-impacting metrics: MQL β SQL conversion, CAC, pipeline contribution, LTV.
-
Lead Sparteo's organic and algorithmic visibility strategy, encompassing technical SEO and emerging search paradigms, to establish Sparteo as the go-to reference in AdTech across all channels where our prospects seek answers.
-
Orchestrate Sparteo's community presence strategy across the channels where our market's decisions are shaped, and build an Expert Advocacy program that positions Sparteo as the reference solution among independent consultants and sector specialists.
