Role Description

The E-commerce Category Specialist is responsible for driving the online performance and growth of the David Yurman jewelry business on NeimanMarcus.com. This role involves:

• Optimizing the online customer experience
• Managing product presentation and information
• Analyzing performance data
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and enhance profitability within the e-commerce channel

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, market trends, and consumer behavior, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in category management, preferably within an e-commerce environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, functionalities, and best practices
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Requirements

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and product information management (PIM) systems is a plus
• Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
