Role Description
The Associate Director, Social & Content Strategy is a senior practitioner role within DEPTยฎ's integrated Strategy organization. You report to a Group Director of Strategy and work alongside discipline leads across brand strategy, communications planning, media strategy, and research.

Shape bold creative campaigns that move brands forward.

Bring craft to strategy: sharpen the problem, drive execution, and provide creative teams with direction.

Understand audience behavior: community formation, trend participation, and content-commerce movement.

Develop fluency across the full social ecosystem: organic, earned, paid, and the creator economy.

Build channel strategies to inform creative production at scale.

Contribute to conversations about digital performance media, display, and DOOH.

Earn client trust through strong independent output and develop strategists around you.
Qualifications

5+ years demonstrated experience in social and content strategy within agency environments.

Practitioner-level fluency in modern social mechanics: algorithmic distribution, paid amplification, creator ecosystems, and AI-influenced search.

Strong brief-writing craft that creates useful constraints and clear points of view.

Experience developing audience intelligence: culturally grounded personas and trend analyses.

Working knowledge of digital strategy beyond social, including digital OOH, display, and performance media.

Communication clarity to present strategic work confidently and build trust with clients.

A mentorship orientation to help junior strategists develop their thinking.
