Role Description
The Associate Director, Market Research will lead market research and insight generation initiatives in preparation for the launch of envudeucitinib in psoriasis. This role requires a high-performing hands-on leader who can both execute research and act as a thought partner to cross-functional teams. This individual will serve as a key strategic advisor to brand and commercial leadership, generating and integrating insights to identify opportunities and deliver meaningful recommendations that drive action and maximize commercial potential.

Execute a robust market research and insight generation plan that delivers valuable insights in preparation for envudeucitinib’s launch in psoriasis; continually synthesize insights in support of building a strong brand and delivering a successful launch.

Independently drive outstanding and agile execution of market research and insight generation initiatives, ensuring the continuous generation of high-quality insights while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and guidelines.

Demonstrate full product, customer, and performance knowledge and be interactive in tactical and strategic planning sessions; clearly demonstrate impact and influence on launch strategy and brand plan.

Act as the voice of the customer to answer outstanding questions, synthesize insights and learnings for leadership, and bring an objective point of view to internal initiatives, workshops, and brainstorms.

Strong collaboration with cross-functional team members to align on study objectives and approaches; facilitate robust discussion of implications of insights on brand strategies and tactics.

Integrate market research with forecasting, secondary data, competitive intelligence, market access, and brand analytics to drive strategies and organizational actions that have a tangible impact on commercial performance.

Support adoption of market research best practices and development of annual market research plan / budget.
Qualifications

7+ years of direct experience in market research in the biopharmaceutical industry; extensive experience and deep knowledge of research principles, concepts, methods, practices, and standards required.

Prior launch experience in competitive markets required, including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch tactics.

Active member of commercial launch / brand team with understanding of cross-functional dependencies, preferably at small or mid-size emerging biotech.

Proven leadership capabilities, including influencing cross-functional partners; ability to proactively challenge internal assumptions and go beyond the "obvious" answer.

Experience integrating insights across sources to impact commercial strategies and tactics; familiarity with medical affairs, forecasting, secondary data, competitive intelligence, market access, and brand analytics.

Strong presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate complex concepts through storytelling; concise and impactful written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to independently solve difficult problems through rigorous application of logic, as well as ability to find creative solutions where needed.

Ability to deliver value-added results that meet high-quality requirements within tight deadlines and to manage third-party vendors effectively on time and within budget.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Life Sciences or equivalent experience; graduate degree a plus.
