Role Description
Ambience is looking for an Analyst Relations Lead on a contract basis to build and execute our AR program from the ground up. In this role, you will establish Ambience as the category leader in ambient AI documentation for health systems β developing our analyst engagement strategy, optimizing our KLAS presence, and expanding relationships with key firms like Gartner, Forrester, Black Book, and Elion.
This is a high-impact contract role (20β30 hours/week, initial 6-month term with option to extend or convert) for a seasoned AR professional who can activate an existing analyst network from day one, work cross-functionally without direct authority, and translate market intelligence into actionable positioning for Sales, Marketing, and Product.
What you will accomplish
-
Develop a comprehensive AR strategy including analyst landscape assessment, tiered prioritization framework, and engagement playbook β delivered within the first 30 days.
-
Own KLAS optimization end-to-end: own customer outreach and invitations for research, coordinate cross-functional inputs across Marketing, Care Transformation, Product, and Sales, and develop proactive engagement with the KLAS research team on emerging sub-categories.
-
Initiate and manage relationships with priority analyst firms beyond KLAS, establishing a quarterly briefing cadence and positioning Ambience for inclusion in relevant market reports.
-
Serve as the internal hub for all analyst-related communications β routing inquiries, aligning stakeholders, and building the cross-functional coordination model that makes AR sustainable.
-
Partner with BizOps to integrate analyst insights into monthly business reviews, connecting AR activity to measurable outcomes like pipeline influence, win rates, and RFP citations.
-
Enable Sales and Marketing with analyst-sourced positioning tools, competitive intelligence, and market research.
-
Build an AR playbook and competitive intelligence dashboard for ongoing team enablement.
Early success indicators (first 60 to 90 days)
-
AR strategy document completed and approved by leadership, including analyst landscape assessment and prioritization rationale.
-
KLAS optimization plan in place with cross-functional alignment secured across Marketing, Care Transformation, Product, and Sales.
-
Initial relationships established with 2β3 priority analyst firms beyond KLAS.
-
Internal stakeholder mapping and coordination model operational.
-
Analyst insights contributing into monthly business reviews.

-
Demonstrated success building or transforming an AR program, including strategy development and cross-functional execution.
-
Experience working with fast-growth B2B SaaS or healthcare technology vendors.
-
Senior executive presence and communication skills β comfortable representing Ambience in the industry and presenting to C-suite.
-
Skilled at aligning stakeholders without direct authority in a complex, fast-moving environment.

Healthcare AI, clinical documentation, or EHR ecosystem expertise.
-
Epic partnership or Epic-focused vendor experience.
