Role Description
This role involves managing and growing the Industry Analyst Relations function at Corelight. The Head of Industry Analyst Relations will shape the perception of the company and its products in the cybersecurity industry.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive industry analyst relations strategy aligned with business goals and product roadmap.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key analysts at leading research firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC).
- Monitor and assess industry trends, analyst reports, and competitive landscape.
- Lead regular interactions, briefings, and deep-dive sessions with analysts.
- Collaborate with executives, product, and marketing teams to create compelling narratives and case studies.
- Drive participation in key industry evaluations (e.g., Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave).
- Track and analyze competitors’ positioning and performance in analyst reports.
- Provide regular updates to the executive team on the company’s standing in analyst reports.
- Act as a key point of contact for managing any analyst-related issues.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in analyst relations, public relations, or a related strategic communications role, with at least 5 years in the cybersecurity industry.
- Proven track record of managing relationships with top-tier industry analysts.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including key technologies and trends.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize market data.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in managing difficult situations and turning negative feedback into opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity trends, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Ability to effectively influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Excellent team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with analysts and influencers.
