[Hiring] Amazon & E-Commerce Marketplace Intern @Watts Water Technologies

Role Description

This motivated and analytical individual, as part of the Corporate Marketing E-Commerce team, will support the growth and optimization of Watts' presence across Amazon and other digital marketplaces. The intern will gain hands-on experience in:

• Marketplace merchandising
• Product content management
• Competitive analysis
• Marketplace operations
• Performance reporting

This position is not responsible for supervision of others and reports to the Manager, E-Commerce Marketplaces. This role is remote based in the US.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of products across Amazon and other e-commerce marketplace channels.
• Monitor marketplace listings to ensure accurate product information, pricing, availability, images, and content.
• Assist with new product launches, assortment updates, and marketplace merchandising initiatives.
• Help identify and resolve listing errors, content issues, suppressed products, and other marketplace-related challenges.
• Track marketplace performance metrics including sales, traffic, conversion rates, pricing, availability, ratings, and reviews.
• Develop and maintain recurring marketplace performance reports and dashboards.
• Analyze marketplace performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Review and optimize product content, including titles, descriptions, specifications, attributes, and images.
• Support product content enrichment and data quality initiatives across marketplace platforms and related systems.
• Conduct competitive research and monitor competitor pricing, assortment, promotions, ratings, reviews, and marketplace positioning.
• Research marketplace trends, consumer shopping behaviors, and best practices to support marketplace growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with E-Commerce, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, and other teams on marketplace projects and initiatives.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, and consumer behavior.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Amazon, Walmart.com, or other online marketplace platforms.
• Experience using PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and basic analytical techniques.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, SEO, product content management, or e-commerce merchandising.
• Experience working with reporting tools, dashboards, or large datasets.
• Exposure to Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or similar marketplace management platforms.
