Our client, located in Australia, is looking for a proactive and digitally savvy AI focused Digital Marketing Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and enjoys exploring how AI tools can improve marketing efficiency, content creation, research, and campaign performance. The successful candidate will combine traditional digital marketing skills with a curiosity for emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
• Create and schedule content across social media platforms.
• Support email marketing campaigns and newsletter distribution.
• Assist with website content updates and optimisation.
• Conduct competitor and market research.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports.
• Support SEO activities, including keyword research and content optimisation.
• Assist with paid advertising campaigns where required.
• Research and test emerging AI tools and technologies.
• Use AI platforms to assist with content creation, ideation, and marketing workflows.
• Develop effective prompts for AI tools such as ChatGPT and similar platforms.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks.
• Assist in implementing AI-driven marketing processes and efficiencies.
• Stay informed of AI trends and developments relevant to digital marketing.

Qualifications

• 3 years + experience in a digital marketing, marketing assistant, or similar role.
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and its application in business.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Midjourney, or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
