Role Description
Pentaβs Brand Strategy team is seeking a hands-on Ads Campaign Manager to manage integrated media campaigns and oversee the work of junior team members. This person will directly build, launch, optimize, and report on campaigns while ensuring work across the team meets high standards for accuracy, performance, and strategic value. They will also strengthen campaign oversight, improve client-facing insights, and help junior employees develop stronger optimization and analytical skills.
The ideal candidate combines technical platform experience with strong judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills. They can review a campaign or report, identify what is missing, recommend what should happen next, and clearly explain the implications.
The Ads Campaign Manager is expected to:

Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta, X, programmatic media, and direct publisher partnerships.

Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to junior team members responsible for campaign execution, monitoring, optimization, and reporting.

Review campaign builds, performance analyses, and client deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and strategic value.

Monitor pacing and performance and recommend optimizations involving bids, budgets, audiences, inventory, placements, creative, and frequency.

Identify delivery, tracking, or performance issues early and ensure campaigns remain aligned with the approved media plan.

Partner with external programmatic teams to coordinate launches, evaluate performance, and implement optimizations.

Translate campaign data into clear, actionable client insights that explain what happened, why it matters, and what should happen next.

Present performance results of campaigns in client-facing settings.

Coach junior team members to independently diagnose performance and develop informed recommendations.

Manage trafficking, tracking, QA, Floodlights, and reporting within Campaign Manager 360.

Troubleshoot discrepancies across ad servers, platforms, and publisher reporting.

Develop consistent campaign-management, QA, optimization, and reporting processes.

Support integrated media planning and independently manage select small to midsized campaigns from planning through reporting.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and 4β6 years of experience in paid media, performance media, integrated media, or ad operations.

Hands-on experience using Campaign Manager 360, including campaign setup, placement and creative trafficking, tracking ads, click trackers, Floodlights, QA, and discrepancy troubleshooting.

Experience building and optimizing Google Ads campaigns, including paid search and YouTube.

Experience managing paid social campaigns, ideally across LinkedIn and Meta.

Working knowledge of programmatic advertising, audience targeting, inventory quality, frequency, and brand safety.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into actionable recommendations.

Strong writing and editing skills, particularly for client-facing reports and presentations.

High attention to detail and the ability to identify errors, missing information, and campaign risks.

Experience reviewing the work of junior team members and providing clear, constructive guidance.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.

Experience in B2B Media.
Preferred, but not required

Experience with direct publisher partnerships and integrated media planning.

Familiarity with GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, Supermetrics, or similar reporting tools.

Experience in account-based marketing, or campaigns targeting senior business decision-makers.
Salary Range
The base salary range for this position will be $80,000 - $100,000 depending on a candidateβs experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.

Location and Remote Schedule
This position is for US-based personnel and is fully remote. Core hours for the role will be 11 am - 5 pm ET. Regardless of geolocation, everyone on the team is expected to work an eight-hour day and be online during this window, excluding standard lunch and break times.
