Role Description

Cottage Health seeks an Information Security Engineer Senior for their CH ITS Administration department serving as a senior technical authority responsible for:

• Security architecture
• Engineering design decisions
• Enterprise risk mitigation strategies to support the Cottage Health Information Security program

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, configuring, and implementing security solutions
• Leading the tactical implementation of relevant security initiatives and services
• Areas of responsibility include:
• Security architecture
• Firewalls
• Monitoring and response
• Endpoint security
• Vulnerability management
• Security incident response and forensics

Furthermore, this position supports the Information Security Team in performing:

• Security assessments
• Product evaluations
• Project support
• Any other operational tasks needed to support the Information Security program and strategic objectives

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential.
