Role Description

The Principal Windows Systems Support role provides ongoing Systems Administration support, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, applications, and connectivity components for Windows environments across multiple locations. This role provides technical support and advises on the use of programming tools, database systems, and networks.

• Remediation of daily incident tickets
• System compliance
• System run enhancement
• Testing and staging
• Policy/procedure enhancement
• Client contact coordination
• Operational recommendations to address availability and reliability issues on Windows systems

This role splits its time between the Business Availability team — designing highly available Windows infrastructure and reducing reliance on planned maintenance windows — and the Disaster Recovery practice, ensuring Windows solutions are validated against recovery objectives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Master's degree preferred
• Expert-level expertise in Windows systems administration and enterprise infrastructure design
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and advise across the organization on complex, business-critical issues
• Experience with Microsoft Server, including clustering
• Experience with VMware
• Familiarity with disaster recovery and high availability in cloud environments — Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure
• U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required
