Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Linux/CommVault Systems Engineer (Associate/Entry-Level) to join our dynamic IT team. As a Linux/CommVault Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive system management and data protection:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux-based systems.
• Implement and manage backup and restore operations for both physical and virtual servers using CommVault.
• Provide first-line technical assistance for Linux and CommVault-related issues.
• Develop and utilize scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline routine tasks.
• Collaborate with IT professionals, vendors, and other departments to ensure operational continuity.
• Adhere to company policies, regulations, and security best practices.
• Support integrated system functionalities with familiarity in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and networking principles.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems (e.g., RHEL).
• Strong command-line navigation, file system manipulation, and system administration skills.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Fundamental knowledge of network protocols and configuration.
• Awareness of cybersecurity best practices relevant to Linux environments.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions.
• 1 year of technical problem solving, solution implementation, team/project collaboration.
• 1 year of basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, development languages/scripting.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $68,400.00 - $105,900.00.
• Base pay determined by qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
