[Hiring] IT Network Engineer II @OSIS

Role Description

Join OSIS and help support the critical network and security infrastructure that powers healthcare organizations nationwide. OSIS is seeking an experienced Network Engineer II to join our Technology team. This is a 100% remote opportunity for a network professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex environments, implementing network solutions, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to maintain secure, reliable network operations.

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Cisco and Fortinet network infrastructure.
• Configure and support firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues.
• Provide escalation support for Help Desk and infrastructure incidents.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to support business objectives.
• Participate in infrastructure projects and technology initiatives.
• Assist with maintaining high levels of network availability, security, and performance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and support after-hours needs when required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Network Engineering experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Cisco CCNA or Fortinet NSE4 certification required.
• Strong experience with:
• Routing and switching technologies.
• Firewall administration and network security.
• OSPF and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
• IPSEC and SSL VPN technologies.
• Network monitoring and performance tuning.
• Troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Experience supporting Cisco and Fortinet environments (preferred).
• Knowledge of:
• VRFs.
• MPLS.
• Nexus switching.
• Point-to-Point circuits.
• IP-SLA.
• Wireless networking.
• Network security monitoring.
• Experience in healthcare, managed services, or nonprofit environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory integration and authentication.

Work Environment

• 100% Remote.
• Full-time, exempt position.
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Occasional evening and weekend support as needed.
• Less than 10% travel.

Compensation Range

$75,600 - $113,400
